In compliance with established policies and procedures, this position performs data processing and operations functions along with internal and external customer service for all Midstates Bank's branches.
The Vice President also leads initiatives as directed by the strategic plan of the bank.
The Vice President of Operations will perform assigned duties in accordance with Midstates Bank's Core Values and will adhere to the Quality Service Standards.
Essential Functions:
Manages SilverLake system for the bank including parameters, user security, updates, releases, end of year and tax reporting.
Assure that the bank has access to and is prepared to apply innovations in operational systems and support functions; recommend changes that meet the bank's strategic initiatives.
Maintain appropriate staffing to meet the ongoing needs of the bank and its clients.
Assist in the bank's contingency and disaster recovery plans.
Lead support for all Silverlake operational items that are not loan specific.
Manages the backroom support for digital banking including but not limited to remote deposit, cash management and bill pay services.
Manage the Operations Team.
Assists in day-to-day operational support of all Midstates Bank locations including, but not limited to file maintenance, routine deposit procedure questions, online banking reset, and debit cards.
Provide wire support to locations.
Gather, participate, and remediate any audits related to Operations - specifically ACH, IT Controls, and Wires.
Identify and implement operational efficiencies working with the COO and VP of Community Banking as needed.
Provide research support to all locations - statements, ACH questions, etc.
Assist in fraud detection, monitoring and reporting.
Participate in civic activities to promote growth and development of the community and a positive image for the bank.
Other duties and projects as assigned.

Experience:
Minimum of 7 years banking operations experience required; Jack Henry SilverLake or 20/20 Core Experience preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
